As the Manager of Supply Chain Operations at Comcast, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing vendor and supplier management, inventory management, and supporting operational execution, including new product introductions and sustainability initiatives. This position may involve managing a team of both exempt and non-exempt employees, providing them with subject matter guidance as needed. You will be responsible for developing processes and procedures that enhance departmental efficiencies and assist in the development and adherence to the departmental budget. Your core responsibilities will include ensuring the successful deployment and implementation of new devices, products, programs, and projects into operations. You will support the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process by ensuring the execution of production plans and managing outsourced vendor and supplier relationships to maintain high-quality and standardized operations. This includes ensuring that contracted service level agreements are met, setting priorities, and holding vendors accountable for their deliverables. In this role, you will leverage operational key performance indicators and metrics to collaborate with the quality team, driving improvements that enhance customer experience while reducing costs. You will also communicate and execute the sustainability plan for supply chain operations, assist in developing requirements for system enhancements, and ensure your team is equipped to adopt new tools and applications. Effective communication of project timelines, deliverables, and risks will be essential, as you will serve as the key contact for field and corporate escalations, working swiftly to resolve operational and vendor management issues. Additionally, you will contribute to the hiring, training, and onboarding of new operations team members, consistently exercising independent judgment and discretion in significant matters. Regular attendance is crucial, and you must be prepared to work nights and weekends as necessary. Other duties may be assigned as required.
