Position Overview The Manager of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for driving standardized policies and best practices throughout NDCP’s operations, including warehouse operations, transportation operations, and supply chain management. The position will collaborate with operations, supply chain logistics, member services, communications, information technology and human resources functions to successfully implement operational excellence and compliance within the organization’s distribution and transportation operations. Schedule: Monday through Friday core day hours

Requirements

  • BS or BBA in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with ERP, Warehouse, and Transportation Management Systems (MAWM preferred)
  • 5+ years of proven progressive growth in roles and management responsibilities, preferably within a multi-site, multi-functional company within the food service / quick service restaurant industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate role within a franchised environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in a management role with prior success driving the implementation of operational strategy to achieve results.
  • Strong attention to detail and clear understanding of financial measurements and operations metrics, and how to leverage these measures to impact overall business results.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop efficient planning and project management methodologies and effective utilization of resources to achieve high-value results.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and priorities and remain agile based on the changing needs of the business.
  • Highest professional ethics and integrity required.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organizational leadership to effectively accomplish assigned scope.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and assist assigned NDCP operational groups in achieving operational excellence through the implementation of standardized policies and best practices within warehousing, supply chain, distribution, and transportation operations.
  • Assist in the analysis and implementation of optimum warehouse design and layout; selecting and receiving methodologies and technology; routing technology; truck load configuration and inbound transportation management.
  • Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain-related operations and strategies, ensuring the standardized processes and procedures are aligned with best practices to optimize the factors that lie between the purchase of materials and the ultimate delivery of goods and products to the customer.
  • Assist the Executive VP, Operations, in monitoring meaningful operational analytics to assess and improve the effectiveness of supply chain and operational-related processes and systems.
  • Support the successful implementation of information technology systems that support NDCP’s supply chain, warehouse, and transportation logistics operations.
  • Work in a consultative fashion and partner with key operational areas and external subject matter experts to develop, communicate, and implement standard operating processes throughout NDCP’s operations to ensure the efficient achievement of NDCP’s operational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the Executive VP, Operations, and other operational personnel to achieve key performance metrics and targets (such as perfect order, profitability, customer satisfaction, and safety) and document, track, and report on progress against these operational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute annual process audits to ensure the standardized operational processes are being executed at the DC level. Report findings back to the Executive VP, Operations.
