About The Position

The Manager, Supply Chain Management position is responsible for coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and communicating goals and objectives. The role emphasizes building accountability and measuring progress in achieving results, addressing improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning. The manager will supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and ensuring diversity awareness. Additionally, the position involves managing pieces of the supply chain process, ensuring merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers, and responding to escalations of daily issues. The manager will analyze data to streamline network efficiencies and conduct performance reviews of merchandising departments, distribution centers, and suppliers. The role also includes improving supply chain execution by determining flow paths from suppliers to stores, collaborating with stakeholders, and tracking the movement of goods across the supply chain. The manager will assist with field-level direction, communicate operational expectations, and manage supply chain flow process improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field plus 1 year of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related experience.
  • OR 3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related experience.
  • Experience with designing and implementing Power BI and Tableau dashboards.
  • Experience with planning and designing workflow models using Alteryx.
  • Experience with writing SQL scripts to pull data from servers.
  • Experience with updating or managing Database Management Systems (DBMS).
  • Experience with performing operations on Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Experience with utilizing SAP ERP system.

  • Conducts performance reviews of merchandising departments, distribution centers, and suppliers.
  • Improves supply chain execution by determining flow paths from supplier to store.
  • Collaborates between supply chain stakeholders to achieve sales, in-stock, inventory, and profitability goals.
  • Tracks the movement and arrival of goods across the supply chain.
  • Develops and presents recommendations to address conflicting goals.
  • Identifies order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain constraints.
  • Acts as a liaison for the field and communicates operational expectations.
  • Manages supply chain flow process improvement efforts.
