About The Position

Manger Supply Chain at Trinity Health Oakland The Manager, Supply Chain Logistics Specialty leads and mentors supply chain teams while driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. This role balances daily leadership with long-term planning, ensuring regulatory readiness, performance outcomes, and process optimization within a defined region. Supporting the Supply Chain and Linen department at Trinity Health Oakland in Pontiac Michigan and approximately 40 FTEs. Full-time benefited position scheduled 40 hours per week. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent combination of education & healthcare Supply Chain experience.
  • 5 years verifiable, Supply Chain-related experience in a progressive work environment.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
  • Supply Chain experience in healthcare is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage budget and provide leadership for supply chain operations across multiple sites, overseeing approximately 30 colleagues.
  • Guide, mentor, and support team members while ensuring alignment with departmental, regional, and system-wide strategies.
  • Collaborate with leaders across regions and system services to develop strategies, achieve performance goals, and maintain consistency in operations.
  • Drive standardization and optimization of policies, processes, and methodologies; establish best practices and foster a community of collaboration.
  • Oversee vendor and contract labor management, including centralizing strategies and optimizing spend.
  • Support system-wide strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with functional priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage financial and staffing governance, including capital approvals and operational budgets.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to ensure transparency and alignment of goals.
  • Measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity, and value delivery to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership throughout the colleague life cycle, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and corrective actions.
