About The Position

The Supply Chain Lead (SCL) at Pfizer is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain activities for investigational products in clinical studies. This role involves leading matrix teams, managing clinical supply budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The SCL acts as a key point of contact for clinical study teams and is accountable for the delivery of clinical supplies, providing innovative solutions to support clinical study design and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience, or a master's degree with at least 3 years of experience, or a PhD with 0+ years of experience, or an associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex clinical development programs.
  • Experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) environment.
  • In-depth experience managing multiple clinical studies in parallel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage matrix teams responsible for supply chain activities for clinical studies.
  • Design and execute global supply strategies for investigational and commercial materials.
  • Participate in project teams to address logistical and regulatory issues.
  • Develop clinical supply solutions including packaging and distribution strategies.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for supply chain challenges.
  • Manage clinical trial drug supply budget and communicate forecasts effectively.
  • Maintain project information in tracking systems and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Act as a point of contact during audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and Limited Duration Teams.
