The Supply Chain Inventory Manager is responsible for developing and proposing global inventory optimization strategies to ensure Supply Chain operates efficiently, reducing SLOBs and improving capacity, while supporting business growth and service levels for Innovative Medicine brands and markets. The Manager will work in close collaboration with End-to-End Planning, Platform Site leaders, Finance, GPEx, Regional Demand and Supply, Make, Quality, Procurement, and Value Chain teams to develop tailored brand strategies while operating as an Intelligence Hub providing solutions that can be validated cross-sites and cross-brands. This role is critical in aligning inventory strategy with business objectives, budgets and forecasts, ensuring optimal stock levels, driving efficiencies in inventory management, and meeting cash flow targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain management or inventory management
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing inventory optimization strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and tools
  • Knowledge of financial principles related to inventory management

Responsibilities

  • Support following financial cycles by supporting projections and actuals discussions and actions
  • Portfolio Management of Inventory optimization initiatives, generating pipeline of projects that will support MPC horizon plans
  • Support Inventory Health checks and reviews and mature the process overtime
  • Shape and design Inventory & SLOB strategies in collaboration with teams and integrate views into IBP in a standard way to support robust discussions with those audiences
  • Identify and propose solutions to optimize working capital while maintaining product availability and minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory
  • Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to meet cash-flow targets through efficient inventory management
  • Identify and propose cost savings initiatives in the supply chain by optimizing inventory turnover, reducing obsolescence and improving inventory accuracy
  • Analyze data and use key performance indicators to track inventory performance, stock levels (DOS), turnover rate and other critical metrics
