Invesco's Procurement organization consists of dedicated individuals across the globe who manage the organization's spend on goods and services while mitigating supplier risk. The Manager will lead the Supplier Relationship Management team and collaborate with the Supplier Relationship Management Associate Director within the Procurement Operations department. The Manager, Supplier Relationship Management, will support key initiatives within Invesco’s Supplier Relationship Management Program. You will be responsible for supporting the program and working with the related technology solutions. You will lead a team of Supplier Analysts to assess the most complex supplier relationships at Invesco, providing support and ensuring these relationships are managed in compliance with the Supplier Relationship Management Program framework.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years directly-related work experience in supplier relationship management, supplier risk management, or audit
  • Solid understanding of the risk management technologies and their alignment with broader Risk and Regulatory strategy
  • Professional designations related to supplier risk management, project management, or related controls
  • Experience managing individuals, providing constructive feedback, coaching new hires, and leading team meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex issues in a team environment working with various levels of management and business partners
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Passion for learning and seeing others grow and develop

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support strategic initiatives to mature the TPRM program, including tool implementations, workflow automation, and integration with other risk disciplines (e.g., Information Security, Compliance, Legal).
  • Track overall program compliance, exceptions, and issues to inform risk-based decision-making.
  • Monitor analyst performance, provide coaching/training to maintain consistency, and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.
  • Oversee distribution of team task to ensure due diligence reviews, recertifications, and continuous monitoring alerts are handled within SLAs.
  • Compile periodic reports on program initiatives and assessments status for committees and senior management
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, improve efficiency, and effectiveness by implementing enhancements across a program
  • Lead Program enhancements driven by evolving and changing regulatory guidance
  • Drive projects for continuous process improvement and bring innovation into the team
  • Partner with department heads to ensure they understand their role and the role of their direct reports in managing supplier relationships. Activities include hosting training sessions, identifying program non-compliance, and escalating concerns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Global Security, Technology, and Operations to maintain an integrated and efficient supplier onboarding process.
