PurposeTo provide leadership, management and accountability for the effective production of multi-functional work teams and processes involved in planning, construction, maintenance and new services in SMUDs Substations Distribution and Transmission Substation infrastructure. To manage SMUDs Substations and substation infrastructure to include recommendations of capital as well as maintenance and operations investments, budget development, scheduling, resource allocation, design, construction and startup operations.Nature and ScopeAssists in the development, implementation and managing of department goals, objectives, policies and priorities in partnership with the department manager, selects, trains, motivates, evaluates and develops subordinate personnel and ensures that department strategic objectives and priorities are achieved and coordinated with other departments. The role is required to attend, present and/or lead at Board, executive, team, customer, community, and one-on-one meetings; in person, as needed.
