DoorDash is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to help manage and grow our Group Solutions as part of DoorDash for Business. We are seeking someone who can generate insights, conceptualize & test new products, and implement experiences that will reach thousands of corporations and millions of employees. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at navigating ambiguity, has a passion for and strength in analytics, and a strong sense of ownership. This role will support a new corporate group solutions meal program offering, with the goal of building a best-in-class solution for offices feeding employees. On a typical day, you might lead a new initiative, run and refine experiments to improve quality, author long-term strategy roadmaps, translate those strategies into actionable plans to hit milestones and OKRs, and make sure we never stop learning & executing. Our best Strategy & Operations Managers have strong product vision, are equal parts analytical and creative, have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and are willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to make the business successful. They are also proven cross functional leaders who excel at influencing up and motivating a team towards a goal.

  • Strategize - Innovate and work on our quality strategy within the Group Solutions pod of DoorDash for Business
  • Experiment – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run tests and lead product/ feature improvement efforts
  • Analyze – Build models to evaluate the economics, patterns and help make data driven decisions
  • Influence – Partner with many teams to make your ideas come to life; Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Design, etc.
  • Build – Implement your ideas into scalable products and provide a world-class operation
  • You have 6+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; direct management experience, high-growth startup (scaling a business from 0 - 1) experience is preferred
  • You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
  • You are an excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; intermediate SQL experience strongly preferred
  • You are customer obsessed - whether that is our clients, merchants or dashers and comfort talking / working with people from all walks of life
  • You’re unafraid of ambiguity. You don’t need a playbook. You dive into difficult problems and come up with a plan. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you.
