About The Position

The Manager, Strategy & Business Operations at Carta will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategy and operational excellence. Carta connects founders, investors, and limited partners through a world-class software platform designed for venture capital, private equity, and private credit. The Strategy & Business Operations team partners with product and business leaders to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation across teams. This position involves managing strategic projects, developing frameworks for market growth, and acting as a thought partner to improve business performance.

Requirements

• 5 - 8 years of experience in management consulting, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy, or business operations
• 2 years of strategy consulting or principal investing experience required
• Proven experience leading end-to-end strategic initiatives, including incubating or launching new business ventures and driving growth for existing lines of business
• Strong ability to drive projects with ambiguous scope to completion, including formulating hypotheses and proposing analyses to move answers forward
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, especially to executives
• Superior problem-solving, presentation, and modeling skills

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end strategic projects such as incubating/launching a new business or accelerating the growth of an existing business
• Develop a strategic framework to identify market growth opportunities for Carta across customer segments and geographies
• Accelerate the journey in building the Network ERP for Private Capital, redefining software for the Office of the Fund CFO
• Act as a thought partner to business leaders and executives across the company to improve business performance & execution
