About The Position

We are seeking a Manager of Strategy & Operations to oversee the operations of our two complementary gig marketplaces—Digital Reporting and Transcription. This leader will manage a team of 6 associates, ensuring operational excellence, scalable processes, and a high-quality contractor experience. The Manager will be responsible for driving performance in active digital reporting states, ensuring we meet client delivery goals while supporting workforce engagement, retention, and growth.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in operations, strategy, or marketplace management, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
  • Proven experience building and scaling gig economy or workforce operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of process creation, optimization, and scaling in fast-paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior gig economy operations experience.
  • Experience with SQL or data analytics.
  • Background in court reporting or legal industries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of 6 Strategy & Operations Associates, setting clear goals, coaching for performance, and running regular team cadences.
  • Oversee daily operations across two gig marketplaces (Digital Reporting & Transcription) to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead workforce capacity planning, performance management, and retention strategies to ensure workforce readiness and reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize operational metrics including delivery SLAs, quality scores, churn/retention, and workforce engagement.
  • Design, test, and implement scalable processes to drive continuous operational improvement and contractor experience.
  • Collaborate with sales and client-facing teams to align on delivery expectations and service quality.
  • Partner with product and engineering to represent workforce and client needs, influencing roadmap priorities and operational tooling.
