The Manager, Strategic Growth will be a vital member of the America's Strategic Growth Team at Palladium, focusing on the growth strategy across various business sectors and technical areas, with a primary emphasis on proposal management. This role is essential in guiding opportunities through the pipeline from identification to submission. The Manager will be responsible for overall planning, writing select proposal and pre-proposal components, and coordinating inputs from internal teams and partners for bid efforts. Additionally, the Manager will assist in broader bid preparation and production aspects, ensuring that all proposals align with Palladium's strategic goals and quality standards. In this position, the Manager will work closely with capture managers to effectively manage proposal efforts and resources. This includes developing timelines, action plans, and identifying necessary proposal team members. The Manager will also support internal and external meetings, facilitate efficient communication, and organize proposal component folders and files. A key responsibility will be to coordinate select proposals, preparing tailored calendars, checklists, instructions, templates, and outlines while monitoring progress to ensure adherence to business development proposal outputs and processes. The Manager will guide proposal teams through corporate-level reviews and decisions, ensuring compliance with established policies and protocols. They will facilitate the evolution and documentation of proposal strategies, including competitive analysis, developing win themes, and selecting teaming partners. The role also involves leading the final technical and cost proposal production and submission, as well as coordinating post-submission debriefs. The Manager will collaborate closely with the Pricing and Value Analytics and Contracts/Operations Departments to support cost and business proposal development as needed. In terms of writing and editing, the Manager will be responsible for drafting expressions of interest, corporate capability statements, technical responses, and other proposal components. They will also edit and coordinate technical proposal sections, manage file traffic, and ensure that submissions from partners meet specified requirements and quality standards. The Manager is expected to grow their proposal writing skills to eventually serve as a lead technical writer and participate in compliance reviews. The role requires maintaining timely data on the assigned opportunity pipeline and playing an active role in the Market Trends & Analytics team. This includes conducting business intelligence research to guide strategic planning and analyzing funding trends among key donors and clients. The Manager will also support efforts to build positive relationships with other international development organizations and a range of international donors, facilitating proactive business development support.
