About The Position

The Platform Innovation Sales team is responsible for scaling our Commerce Platform’s nascent bets in restaurant technology. This team partners with our Product, Strategy & Operations, and Account Management teams to build our GTM strategy and execute on ambitious goals for DoorDash’s latest first party technologies. This role is a critical hire who will help drive the adoption and growth of new solutions with our existing and new restaurant partners. As a Manager of Platform Innovation Sales, you will be responsible for leading a team of front line sales reps, driving the sales performance that is the main input to our new product adoption goals. You will do this through hiring, developing, and performance managing great talent, building an inclusive and motivating work environment, and partnering with our S&O teams to find new and creative ways to drive adoption. This position will report to the Director, Platform Innovation Sales and will lead team members across the West Coast of the US. This role is flexible on its location and will require frequent travel to support our in-market sales reps. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Build the team. This team is responsible for our most nascent bets; as a Sales Manager, will work with your internal partners to concurrently improve our offering and find new and creative avenues for adoption. You will connect the dots between the two, scaling learnings and driving a high performance culture via 1:1 coaching, deal strategy and pipeline reviews. As a Platform Innovation Sales leader, you will leverage your own learnings from conversations with merchants to build better processes aimed at enhancing our value prop to our customers and employees.

Requirements
