About The Position

As the Manager of Regulatory & Statistical Reporting, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations while driving accuracy and efficiency in our reporting processes. This position combines technical expertise with strategic oversight, making you the go-to resource for regulatory data calls, audits, and process improvements. You'll collaborate across multiple teams and lead initiatives that enhance transparency and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience with regulatory reporting experience within the insurance industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETL tools, and large ERP environments; advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work; strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills; proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex reporting issues; innovative mindset with a strong work ethic; excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of management and professional staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and industry data sources (e.g., NCCI, ISO, NAIC, MCAS, state-specific statistical plans) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary developer for all existing and new data call programming logic.
  • Maintain and update Statistical Reporting infrastructure and tools, including cubes, mapping tables, views, stored procedures, and ETL packages.
  • Prepare, validate, and submit timely statistical reports on key metrics such as premiums earned, claims paid, and policyholder data.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks on data sources to ensure accuracy and reconcile to the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with accounting, actuarial, finance, and legal/compliance teams to respond to regulatory inquiries and audits.
  • Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, SOPs, and documentation to support internal reviews and external audits.
  • Drive process improvements and standardization within the statistical reporting function to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
