About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in public policy and/or government affairs.
• Proven ability to build relationships with government officials.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Experience in managing events related to government outreach.
• Ability to support business units in strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate key company positions across government agencies and industry organizations.
• Engage in strategies that support the company's global business interests.
• Support government relations communication strategies to align internal and external messaging.
• Build relationships with governors' and mayors' offices in prioritized states.
• Maintain relations with state legislatures and local governments regarding business development.
• Coordinate and host the Hitachi Day event in a major state.
