Summary Responsible and accountable as a member of the Network Supply Chain Management (SCM) team for coordination and execution of new projects. Provides end to end supply chain services from planning/design stage to Go-Live. Provides expert guidance and direction for all capital equipment planning, purchased services and all operations surrounding salary and non-salary initiatives. Establishes, implements, monitors, and ensures compliance with policies, processes, and procedures. Collaborates with SCM and Network colleagues as a key member of the management team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5 years or more years' experience in Hospital Supply Chain, project management, capital equipment planning, inventory control, operations, or other related field.
  • Must possess leadership skills, ability to work under stress, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must delegate effectively.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and medical supplies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development pf project milestones and project management tasks, performance measures, key performance indicators and continuous improvement initiatives relative to new projects in the Network.
  • Manages multiple priorities and projects while providing accurate, timely, and quality work.
  • Leads the team and delegates appropriately.
  • Provides periodic updates to the Core Team.
  • Collaborates with key members of the Project Team to ensure all Network essential services are successfully operationalized.
  • Responsible for a high level of customer service and acts as a liaison between clinical and non-clinical functions and the Supply Chain Core Team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Administrator.
  • Responsible for the recruiting, selection and development of the Start-Up team.
