Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the entertainment, retail, casino/sportsbook, or F&B industries
  • Strong process and project management skills
  • Ambitious self-starter, proactive and passionate about delivering projects
  • Strong attention to detail and enjoyment of problem-solving
  • Do-what-it-takes attitude, willing to dive in and figure it out
  • Team player
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to gain and maintain a Gaming License through the proper regulatory body as a condition of hire and continued employment

Responsibilities

  • Set the standard for best-in-class customer service by representing BetMGM's brand in line with standards and expectations
  • Lead, develop and mentor staff to ensure all company, departmental and regulatory standards and KPI goals are understood and met
  • Oversee day-to-day operations consistent with the strategic plan and vision, while ensuring adherence to policies, legal requirements, Title 31, and Gaming regulations
  • Uphold and lead all appropriate cash control policies and maintain cash safe accuracy
  • Build a strong team by coaching employees and leaders through effective hiring, training, and scheduling practices to ensure the needs of the business are met
  • Manage labor level-based analysis of customer volumes and business plans
  • Develop cross-functional relationships including, but not limited to, Property Management, Regional Marketing, AML, Human Resources, VIP, Trading and departmental leadership
  • Maintain industry and competitive landscape knowledge
  • Ensure all customer-facing touchpoints and assets are in working order, such as kiosks, AV, data walls, odd sheets, seating, queuing, and signage
  • Partner with the Security and Surveillance Team to ensure that the sports book is operating safely and securely
  • Handle customer service escalations as needed
