About The Position

The Manager Specialty Compliance and Ethics, AML Testing and Monitoring role will participate in risk-based control testing by using financial services industry knowledge to identify risks and mitigating controls in processes, design and conduct testing and assessments of key controls, document issues and gaps in controls, and provide support throughout the review process to the team assigned. You'll make an impact by: Identifying and documenting risks and controls within the financial services products and services offered by Walmart, specifically within the applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) laws, rules, and regulations and other consumer financial protection regulations. Testing the operational effectiveness of the controls, identifying issues where appropriate, and helping the Team relay the results of the testing to the stakeholders through written and verbal communication. Analyzing processes and identifying possible gaps which could lead to regulatory risk if not addressed. Supporting the Senior Managers and Directors throughout all stages of reviews by taking on more complex testing and monitoring assignments. Additionally, provide guidance to Senior Analysts through training and development opportunities and feedback on individual assignments. Validating outstanding issues as assigned and documenting the remediation of identified gaps and risks. Being hyper focused on performing quality work with an emphasis on meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
  • 2 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Supervisory experience.
