About The Position

LifeMoves is the largest and most effective provider of housing and services for neighbors experiencing homelessness in Silicon Valley since 1987. Our Mission is to end homelessness by providing interim housing, supportive services, and building collaborative partnerships. With 40 programs , LifeMoves gives our neighbors experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management through site-based programs and community outreach. The Manager of Programming & Resources will work closely with program staff to share resources with clients, implement workshops, and execute programs that assist our clients around housing, employment, wellness, skill building, and other relevant areas. This role works closely with another Specialized Services manager and involves frequent cross-functional collaboration; and serves as a relationship builder to bridge the gap between our various programs, organizations, and the community, including local employers. The ideal candidate possesses a collaborative spirit, a data-driven mind set and has experience collecting and analyzing data. While this position collaborates with the entire agency, it primarily supports Specialists in Santa Clara County.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability working with individuals and families from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Must be computer literate; internet savvy, experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting in front of groups.
  • Strong organizational, detail oriented, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Display a high level of initiative and commitment towards completing duties efficiently
  • An understanding of ideas and practices that promote diversity, equity and inclusion; and a commitment to ongoing professional development in this area.
  • Strong understanding of workshop and project coordination and management.
  • Valid California driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate supportive programming in response to client needs including but not limited to housing support, employment, and benefits.
  • Work with the Education & Specialized Services team and Programs staff to provide support, leadership, and training to Support Specialists.
  • Facilitate Support Specialist meetings to provide programmatic updates and support.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data to track metrics related to relevant programming, and implement programmatic changes to increase effectiveness.
  • Conduct monthly 1-1 meetings with each Support Specialist to coordinate programming, resources and review and collect data on referrals and services.
  • Help facilitate workshops at program sites when needed.
  • Cultivate new and maintain existing partnerships with community agencies and organizations around employment, housing and benefits support.
  • Participate in special projects (e.g., resource dissemination, strategic planning, pilots)
  • Manage support contracts outcomes
  • Attend relevant trainings, conferences, meetings and implement learnings into supportive services.
  • Research, develop, and implement new strategies for strategic programming in supportive services.
  • Develop and update Notion resource page.
  • Support Program Directors in hiring Specialists
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
