About The Position

Flock Safety is hiring a Manager, Solutions Engineering (Regional) to scale and elevate our presales impact across the Regional segment. This role exists to lead, coach, and develop a team of Regional Solutions Engineers who partner with Account Executives to uncover customer pain, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate business value. The manager will improve coverage and engagement by ensuring SEs are brought into deals earlier, positioned as trusted advisors, and consistently delivering value-based discovery and demos. Additionally, the role will strengthen alignment with Sales, Customer Success, and Deployment to drive seamless handoffs and successful customer outcomes. This manager will play a key role in achieving Flock’s mission to reduce crime by 25% in the next three years by ensuring our presales organization helps agencies and communities fully understand the impact of our platform.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage, coach, and grow presales/technical sales teams, ideally in SaaS, hardware-enabled, or public safety technology.
  • Strong background in technical discovery, solution design, and delivering compelling demos tied to measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to partner across Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align on priorities and improve customer experience.
  • Experience building scalable processes, performance metrics, and tools to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can represent both the voice of the customer and the vision of Flock to executives and field teams.

Responsibilities
