About The Position

Manager (Solution Architect) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to analyze and understand specific system requirements to design, develop, and implement system architecture. Under the supervision of a Sr. Manager, oversee efforts of lower-level team members while serving as technical lead and mentor. Responsible for the end-to-end architecture of solutions, including requirement gathering & conversion to technical requirements, assembly & integration into the IT architecture principles defined by the client, and design & implement technical architecture. Define the structure of a system and the principles that guide its organization, software design, and implementation. Ensure the compatibility of system components. Verify and report on stability of system architecture. Involved in the end-to-end software development of the complete reporting development lifecycle. Perform reports migration across application instances and ensure error free migration. Maintain application knowledge base and troubleshooting documentation. Use quality control procedures to enhance application quality.

Requirements

  • Must have a Master's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience.
  • In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience.
  • Must have one (1) year of IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets: Unix, Salesforce CRM, and Siebel CRM; Kibana, Pega Cloud, and Salesforce; OR PL/SQL, Unix Scripting, and Autosys.
  • All experience may be acquired concurrently.
  • Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs.
  • Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths.
