About The Position

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager at AmTrust Financial Services will oversee the quality assurance staff, focusing on developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust system for quality and reliability testing of the organization's products and development processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that products meet the required specifications for quality, function, and reliability before delivery, while also upholding the standards and values of AmTrust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or a minimum of four years related work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Deep knowledge of the testing process, with past experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst (SQAA) or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
  • Audit of work to validate adherence to Center of Excellence (COE) standards.
  • Leadership skills; accepts responsibility for outcomes of one's work.
  • Encourages others to take responsibility and provides support to accept responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
  • Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
  • Coordinates product-testing processes.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Keeps current with market trends and demands.
  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
