We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Software Development Manager with strong hands-on expertise in Java development, a deep understanding of scalable system design, and a passion for leading high-performing engineering teams. This role combines technical leadership with people management, guiding the team to deliver robust software solutions while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Technical Leadership Lead the development of high-quality, scalable Java applications.
  • Provide clear technical direction and design guidance to the team.
  • Review code, mentor engineers, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Champion modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, modular design, and cloud-native development.
  • People Management Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, supporting their growth and performance.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven team culture.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding processes to build a strong engineering team.
  • Project Execution Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Identify risks, remove blockers, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes and team productivity.
  • Minimum 10 years of overall technical experience
  • 3–5 years of people management experience
  • Strong Java development experience
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to understand requirements, develop solutions, and provide recommendations
