About The Position

MANAGER SOCIAL WORK NURSING HOME Summary Manager - Social Work Location: Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, MD Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Summary Responsible for the oversight of daily operations, staffing, and workflows for Care Management Department. This includes supervision of social work staff. Provides clinical social work services or psychosocial assessments to patients/residents and families, regarding the following common problems: adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, family relationships, difficulty understanding/accepting medical/diagnoses/procedures/treatments, changes relating to aging, powerlessness, discharge planning and counseling related to death and dying. Requirements

  • Education Required: Bachelor of Social Work Licensed Bachelor Social Worker - BSW - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
  • Experience Required: 5-7 years of experience
