About the team: The Campaigns and Events team leads enterprise-wide event strategy and execution, enhancing traffic, brand awareness, and revenue through key moments such as Deals events on Walmart.com. This team collaborates across functions to design and implement effective site merchandising strategies, leveraging customer analytics and market research to optimize site layouts and promotional campaigns. They drive business growth by influencing stakeholders, managing category strategies, and delivering data-driven insights. The team values clear communication, strategic planning, and continuous improvement to create engaging customer experiences and support Walmart’s business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in site merchandising, including site navigation, visual merchandising, and administrative systems such as Tempo and Tango.
  • Strong ability to design and execute traffic plans, product layouts, and category displays to drive customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in leveraging customer analytics and market research to inform site changes and merchandising strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence cross-functional partners and present complex information clearly.
  • Experience in developing category strategies and providing actionable business insights based on data analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and internal stakeholders to optimize site performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize site merchandising for assigned departments by designing traffic plans, category displays, and product layouts.
  • Drive customer engagement through navigation strategies and collaboration with marketing partners.
  • Analyze customer behavior and market data to recommend site improvements and category strategies.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Manage product discovery, roadmap development, and campaign launches to enhance site performance.
  • Oversee site structure and SEO compliance to maximize content relevance and visibility.
  • Lead reporting efforts using data analytics to inform business decisions and measure results.

  • The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
