About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for soliciting, developing, and establishing deposit and treasury services products to new and existing Specialty Finance clients. Manages a Deposit Sales team. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Responsible for actively soliciting and developing new and existing customer relationships in assigned market areas. Responsible for managing the ongoing Sales relationship, opening and managing deposits and treasury services products, and other ongoing client services and administration. Drives and manages the portfolio growth, depository targets, and treasury services needs of existing accounts to ensure departmental targets and goals are achieved by working in a collaborative manner with Value Stream Team members. Works with Loan Officer, Credit, Loan Operations, and Treasury Services teams in establishing new client relationships and servicing of existing clients. Attends to the individual needs of SFG clients seeking deposits and treasury services, evaluates the financial needs of the client, customize suite of products and services, and assist the client to expedite financial management activities effectively and find solutions to enhance financial controls. Identifies opportunities and promotes cross selling opportunities by actively engaging other areas of the bank (Private Banking, WAS, Insurance, etc.) to deepen the relationship. Develops, maintains, and executes the Pipeline Report and follows up on all prospective clients. Actively utilizes InSight (Salesforce) system by populating new client leads, referrals, opportunities, and maintains a daily follow up on all tasks for prospective and existing clients. Responsible for the supervision of assigned staff and exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations. Must have valid driver’s license. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. Completes all compliance training related to the position. Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Five (5) to eight (8) years experience preferred or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in Deposit and Treasury Services.
  • Proven record of new business generation.
  • Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • MBA preferred.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification preferred
