Manages the physical equipment operational integrity of the enterprise access controls, video systems and Intrusion systems. Delivers solutions, educates others, and resolves issues regarding the strength and opportunities of security systems equipment and tools. Analyzes and recommends ways to improve security protocols, performance and functionality. Collaborates with ET and vendors to anticipate potential problems, proactively addresses solutions, and coordinate upgrades to the security systems. Manages the daily operational integrity to support for localized users, software configuration, and verification of door function, and documentation updates as well as preventative and as needed maintenance. Manages enterprise video systems including review of video for safety, compliance with regulations and company policy, operational equipment support needs as well as preventative maintenance. Responsible for ensuring that alarm monitoring training and certification requirements established by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) are being met by designated security personnel. Prepares organized, accurate, and concise verbal and written communications affecting employee’s safety in sensitively and diplomatically manner. Shares security impact and status with Leadership. Exhibits a calm sense of urgency during problem analysis and follows up afterward. Manages annual license renewal on all security software. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
