About The Position

Performs a variety of security and safety related functions while providing assistance to the Security Officers and Hospital staff. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Security Services, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Primary Work Shift: Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $35.27 - $53.94 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalence Diploma
• 10 years’ experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or related field, and 5 year’s supervisory experience
• Experience working with law enforcement procedures, UHS policies and regulations and regulatory standards associated with security and access
• Experience in basic fire protection and control techniques
• Current, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Valid New York State Security Officer certification
• CPR/Basic First Aid Certification. There is a 3‑month grace period from date of hire for candidates to complete CPR/Basic First Aid certification
