About The Position

The Security Manager is responsible for protecting associates, business operations and Company assets from acts of violence, fraud, contamination, extortion, and theft, in accordance with established company policies Working to develop preventative initiatives, and where necessary, proactively exploring fraud and misconduct associated with our business operations to maintain and improve the level of security for employees, facilities, and other assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of related experience, with 5+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Previous work experience includes experience in the detection of fraudulent activities
  • Diverse investigative background in complex investigations.

Nice To Haves

  • Soft drink industry experience, preferred
  • Prior audit experience preferred, preferred
  • Extensive Law enforcement experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, locate and recover company lost/stolen assets
  • Identify areas where company is vulnerable for external/internal theft and make recommendations to appropriate management leadership
  • Responsible for the investigations of incidents of internal and external fraud, theft, and malicious business activity associated with the Company and its employees
  • Investigate complaints of product contamination or product tampering, coordinate with Quality Assurance and report findings
  • Prepare and submit reports relating to investigations, audits, and security activities for internal and external reporting
  • In cases involving external theft, pursue investigations, liaison with law enforcement, act as custodian of records, represent the company as the victim, and make formal restitution request from the court when cases are prosecuted.
  • Conduct security awareness training regarding workplace violence, crime protection techniques, fraud detection and other security related topics
  • Design and implement individual facility security plans to include security detection systems, access control devices, uniformed security guard activities, security of the cashier’s room, lighting systems, perimeter security, etc.
  • Coordinate with management team to prepare and initiate field audits for facility security, full-service vending, and route delivery personnel
  • Develop and maintain productive liaison with law enforcement authorities and regulatory agencies at the Federal, State and local levels
  • Manage work stoppage/strike incidents and develop Business Continuation Plan during stoppage.
