About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineering Manager to lead our Security Engineering team within the Cyber Threat organization. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day security engineering operations, ensuring the resilience and integrity of our cyber infrastructure, and driving strategic initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to threat mitigation and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of threat detection, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in regulated environments and managing sensitive data securely.
• U.S. citizenship required due to data sovereignty and compliance requirements.

• CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• GIAC – Global Information Assurance Certifications (e.g., GSEC, GCIA, GCIH)
• CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty or other cloud security certifications

• Security+ – CompTIA Security+ (for foundational knowledge)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of security engineers focused on threat detection, automation, and infrastructure hardening.
• Collaborate closely with Cyber Threat leadership to align engineering efforts with broader security strategy and business objectives.
• Drive operational excellence in security tooling, automation, and incident response capabilities.
• Partner with the Senior Manager to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance the organization’s cyber defense posture.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to cybersecurity and data protection.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
