The IT Management team oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services, providing strategic oversight, leadership, and direction within the Information Technology function. The company is currently seeking a Manager within the SAP Center of Excellence, responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the Pharma SAP PTP / SCE functions, including current, recently added, and the expansion of new businesses.

  • Manage department operations and supervise professional employees, front line supervisors, and/or business support staff.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals.

  • Execute and manage the Procure to Pay / Supply Chain Execution functionality that supports the Pharma business segment.
  • Responsible for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings in PTP / SCE functional areas of SAP Pharma platform.
  • Lead in IT, service delivery, strategy alignment to drive tactical solutions and stakeholder management.
  • Overall solution ownership of Incidents, defects, enhancements, and new build for PTP / SCE areas.
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and changes in business processes.
  • Complete effort estimates, prepare proposals, and collaborate with functional partners to deliver solutions for value-add business functions.
  • Drive end-user satisfaction by using specific metrics.
  • Influence internal and external clients to leverage out of the box solutions and reduce customizations.
  • Plan, monitor, organize, and oversee projects.
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Identify synergies and optimization areas within the domain and manage the execution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management.
  • Collaborate with other process tower leaders to ensure a cohesive solution without impacting cross functional and downstream processes or applications.
  • Prepare and conduct prioritization meetings with the PTP / SCE functional partners.
  • Ensure all critical PTP / SCE processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurrent incidents.
  • Lead, coach, and cross train a team of functional consultants.
  • Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and stable operations.
  • Comply and enforce adoption of Solution discover, documentation, Hypercare and build-to-run transition to support partners.
  • Support the Vertex 6.0 Tax Software for the pharmaceutical segment.
  • Responsible for the KPI's and BPM metrics that support current and future Pharma business units on SAP.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years’ experience in SAP Build/Run activities preferred.
  • Full-Cycle SAP implementation (S4 preferred).
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen in pharmaceutical wholesale distribution space.
  • Superior knowledge of processes and technology with deep hands-on knowledge in the SAP domain.
  • Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical capabilities and solutions.
  • Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong experience in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners to deliver quality business solutions.
  • Prior experience with managing highly skilled onsite and offshore teams.
  • Superior experience of identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams.
  • Ability to develop individuals and teams.

  • Experience in managing Demand (projects) and Supply (Resources).
  • SAP Integration with Warehouse Management systems.
