The Sales Operations team is at the forefront of the ongoing transformation in Media Sales division at Comcast Advertising. This team spearheads creating and leading strategic plans for the sales teams (both long term and short term) to ensure the effective long-term growth revenue and profitability. Operationally, the strategic initiative team works cross-functionally with partner organizations and relevant operating groups such as sales, product, engineering, finance, HR and many more teams. The Manager, Sales Operations is a critical role to the success of our sales organization's performance and efficiency. Responsible for the successful, thorough analysis and go-to-market plan for strategic initiatives and programs that are deployed into the sales organization as they relate to new product innovations, product enhancements, systems, and tools that meet our operating plan goals. This leader must have high emotional intelligence, with the ability to partner with all areas of the business, collaborating with all levels of leadership, sales, product strategy, product marketing, research & data, architecture, sales support teams and learning & development teams. The leader must have effective project management, strategic planning and communication skills (written and verbal), be a change agent, and can inspire action. Highly analytical, must be able to diagnose and communicate areas of high and low adoption. Ideal candidate has consulting, program & project management, software product management, and/or strategic planning & execution experience. They will report into the Director, Sales Operations.

  • Leads the creation of strategic plans for new and existing initiatives that support key challenges/opportunities.
  • Define KPIs for new initiatives and periodically review ongoing initiatives by monitoring KPIs.
  • Oversees the post-launch accountability of strategic initiatives to ensure all objectives continue to be achieved.
  • Partner with Sales Leaders to run Quarterly Business Reviews and change sales strategy where needed.
  • Acts as a strategic thought partner to sales operations and sales leadership.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide strategic insights to sales leadership to drive decision-making.
  • Support Sales leadership through capacity planning, productivity review, market segmentation, territory carving, quota/incentive design, and headcount allocation.
  • Partner with sales on the creation and optimization of call scripts and sales playbooks for the inbound and outbound BDRs.
  • Create and own an overall business roadmap and timing of initiatives; negotiate with internal stakeholders on prioritizing initiatives.
  • Creates and maintains client master data including margin analysis, prepared sales measurements and reports.
  • Provides overall direction of the Product Sales Support & Analysis team to drive lead generation, sales force database management, sales reporting and production/control of presentations and proposals.
  • Maintains sales forecasts and analysis for management reports.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate with all levels of leadership.
  • Effective project management, strategic planning, and communication skills.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to diagnose and communicate areas of high and low adoption.
  • Experience in consulting, program & project management, software product management, and/or strategic planning & execution.
  • Base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
