About The Position

Proofpoint is looking for a Manager of a Sales Development - FORGE team. This team is comprised of new Sales Development Representatives and Interns. This person will have the primary responsibility of recruiting, onboarding and coaching new Proofpoint SDRs to provide a progressive learning path to sales focused on core competencies including prospecting, time management, organization and product knowledge. This individual will be a coach who has a deep understanding of how to overcome common obstacles and has a passion to teach others how to become a top performer. The design on this team is to be a world class training ground for new hires before stepping into an assigned territory.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of experience leading high-performing sales development team
  • 2+ years of experience selling enterprise SaaS
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Outreach.io

Responsibilities

  • Lead BDR team responsible for outbound prospecting and setting qualified opportunities
  • Lead weekly meeting reviews with BDR team as well as 1:1’s
  • Measure and continually find ways to improve process and performance-Challenge status quo
  • Communicate with sales leadership to ensure the BDR team is meeting pipeline expectations
  • Work with marketing to create and implement programs
  • Coach team in use of Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo
  • Maintains a culture of accountability, hard work, and innovation for themselves and their team
