About The Position

This position will sit in person at our Corporate World Headquarters in Springdale, AR. Relocation assistance is not being offered. Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for prospecting new opportunities and closing deals? Tyson Foods is looking for a high-energy Sales Account Manager who thrives on prospecting, nurturing leads, and closing deals with our Foodservice Distributor and Operator Accounts. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Business Development Foodservice and be empowered to own the full sales cycle—from identifying prospects to closing contracts. You’ll work closely with regional sales teams and cross-functional partners to build a robust pipeline, accelerate growth, and deliver innovative value-added products that meet evolving customer needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales success, ideally in Foodservice or related industries, with a strong track record of new business development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills that inspire confidence and close deals.
  • Strategic mindset with relentless drive to prospect, engage, and convert leads into loyal customers.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales tools to manage pipeline and sales activities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and nurture leads within assigned Foodservice Distributor and Operator Accounts to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with decision-makers to become their go-to partner for solutions that drive their success.
  • Manage the entire sales process—conduct compelling presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals that exceed volume and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Distribution, Revenue Management, and marketing teams to craft winning strategies and deliver seamless execution.
  • Use data-driven insights and sales tools to track pipeline health, forecast accurately, and report progress to leadership.
  • Protect and grow core business while continuously expanding Tyson’s footprint through strategic new item sell-ins and competitive positioning.
