About The Position
The position involves oversight of all equipment specification, costing, purchasing/leasing, and maintenance. The role requires maintaining all driver qualification records and reports, ensuring compliance with FMCSA/DOT regulations, and working closely with health clinics and staff to ensure consistency/adherence with Federal (and/or Company) driver physicals and drug testing programs. Additionally, the position ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, and that the company maintains satisfactory Safety ratings and CSA scores. The role also includes coordinating the onboarding and training of all drivers, managing accident investigations, and ensuring compliance with insurance processes related to workers compensation and liability insurance. The individual will oversee safety-related events and ensure safety recognition programs are implemented and administered properly. Furthermore, the position involves oversight of licensing for FMCSA, UCR, NYHUT, IFTA, Fuel Cards, EZ Pass, and ELD compliance and equipment function.
