About The Position

Thisposition is responsible for assisting in the development of organization-wide initiativesand independently planning, managing, and implementing compliance and riskmanagement program activities at RCH and its entities. Duties may also includecompliance and risk mitigation activities, as needed, and assigned. Responsibilitieswill include, but are not limited to investigating internal concerns,management of internal data systems, conducting related education and training,facilitating and follow through of audit findings, facilitating and processingrecords for legal claims and suits, advising leadership and management incollaboration with Director of Risk Management and Compliance, and assessing,reporting, and mitigating entity risk for noncompliance with applicable laws,rules and regulations. This position additional duties and responsibilities toinclude but not limited to the management of contracts and insurance coverages,organization's event reporting systems, and policy and procedure systems . Requirements

  • Bachelor's degreein business administration, healthcare administration, or related fielddesired: master's degree preferred.
  • Healthcarecompliance and risk certification (CHC, CPHRM) certification within 18 monthsof employment
  • Requires five (5)years of experience with contracts and risk assessments; one to two years incompliance and risk management preferred.
  • Thoroughknowledge of health care regulations, principles, concepts, and practices,i.e., OIG, CMS CoP, TJC, Title 22, FDA, and other federal, state, and localstandards and regulations.
  • Proficiency inWord, Excel, and Outlook.
  • MAB is required to becompleted on the first day of work. (Grandfathered: existing employeesmust complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.)

Nice To Haves
