About The Position

Position Summary: The Manager of Risk Assurance is responsible for helping to ensure that TCH maintains an effective control environment by managing internal and external control testing activities, perform quality assurance checks on risk control self-assessment and issues management activities, facilitating a strong risk culture throughout the organization and other related activities dedicated to the timely identification and management of risk. The role will require significant collaboration with first, second, and third line of defense stakeholders throughout TCH. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business administration, finance, management information systems or a related area required
  • 5+ years of - risk management, control testing, or audit related experience in Banking, Finance or Technology industries
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Related experience in the Banking/Finance industry
  • MBA in Business, Computer Science, or other related area
  • Prior experience working with GRC tools

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Enterprise Risk Management and business units to execute the company’s control testing requirements, validation of test results, training for Line 1, and remediation efforts including those identified in RCSAs
  • Managing various reporting activities related to Risk Assurance function activities
  • Support quarterly risk and control self-assessment quality assurance review
  • Support monthly issues management quality assurance review
  • Support various department risk management activities as required
  • Interface and work with senior employees across the enterprise
  • Present recommendations and solutions to business issues
  • Build consensus and resolve conflicts, demonstrate good judgement
