SUMMARY: The Manager of Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing total revenue and profitability across the cruise line’s portfolio by optimizing pricing and inventory. This role leads strategic yield management initiatives, demand forecasting, and performance analytics to ensure ships sail at optimal occupancy and rate, while maintaining a strong guest experience and brand positioning.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills a must

  • A 4-year degree from a college or university, majoring in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or another technical major.
  • At least 4-8 years of work experience in revenue management, pricing, yield management, or analytics (travel/hospitality/airline/cruise preferred).
  • Prior experience mentoring people and/or leading project teams.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL experience highly preferred
  • familiarity with Tableau a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Compiles booking, revenue, and inventory data to update reports, revenue forecasts and create ad-hoc analyses as needed.
  • Organizes and interprets data on the ship, itinerary, and cabin category level and analyzes historical and recent booking trends.
  • Monitors sailing performance on a regular basis to determine adding or removing from existing retail promotions and other targeted tactical offers.
  • Reviews pricing and promotions for different audiences (consumer, travel advisor, National Accounts) and markets (international markets and currencies).
  • Communicates select sailings of need to various parties and assists with date selection for different offers and channels.
  • Analyzes and measures success of promotions and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Develops financial models and projections to address complex business problems.
  • Creates and enhances Business Intelligence visualization, dashboards, and solutions to optimize and automate daily, weekly, and monthly delivery of reports.
  • Mentor and help develop a team of Revenue Analysts
  • Lead cross-functional projects with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations to improve revenue performance
  • Manage vendor relationships as needed
