About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Revenue Integrity. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing payment audits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including account managers and internal teams, to improve revenue integrity. Your analysis and management of contracts will play a critical role in driving operational success. Collaboration and communication will be key as you lead initiatives to enhance performance and address denial management issues.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate with Medical Office training certificate or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience in auditing, preferably within revenue cycle.
  • 3+ years of people management experience required.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills required.
  • Ability to interpret contract language and identify payment variances.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing offshore resources preferred.
  • Experience with Trizetto’s EOBresolve tool or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with Athenahealth's tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage signed contracts and fee schedules/rates; create and load within the contract system and update the Master Tracker.
  • Audit payor processed claims to ensure reimbursement accuracy per agreements.
  • Lead initiatives for efficiency; conduct regular meetings with leadership and commercial payers.
  • Make independent decisions regarding audit results and communicate outcomes with relevant teams.
  • Create and follow approved escalation processes for timely issue resolution.
  • Assist senior leaders with urgent audits or concerns.
  • Identify and manage denial trends; collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Team to create reference tools.
  • Assist with analysis on contract issues for negotiations.
  • Provide management, guidance, and training to team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
