The company delivers a total revenue solution through staff development, high-value expertise, and engaged fan relationships. As the sports industry and fan behavior continues to evolve, Learfield Amplify remains at the forefront of business intelligence through many of its national relationships, leading to increased revenues for teams across the country. As the exclusive outbound arm for the University, the sales team manages many of the sales efforts for ticketed sports. As a member of the team, we provide fans, partners, businesses, and constituents of the University with outreach and access to all ticket types, including season, partial, and group tickets, and ultimately providing experiences to grow involvement and revenue generation across the board while integrating fully within the department and the community. Learfield Amplify is actively seeking a Manager, Revenue Generation. To lead the ticket sales team. The Manager, Revenue Generation, is responsible for training, mentoring, motivating and coaching the revenue generation staff. This person will also be responsible for developing and implementing revenue initiatives designed to meet or exceed the annual sales goals set forth by senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience within collegiate and/or professional sports, with at least 1+ years in a ticket sales leadership role
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership ability
  • Results-driven professional with a proven ability to motivate teams and drive revenue growth
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Paciolan or Ticketmaster/Archtics preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SSB, Outreach, Conquer, ACT)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support revenue generation initiatives, including ticket sales, new donor acquisition, customer service, and other revenue-driving opportunities
  • Partner with the Director to recruit, hire, and develop revenue generation staff
  • Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Sales & Service team
  • Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to drive individual and team performance
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, fostering collaboration, idea-sharing, and innovation in revenue strategies
  • Develop and manage a personal portfolio of sales prospects and customers
  • Assist in the development and execution of the annual Revenue Generation plan and budget in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Oversee and optimize group assets and in-game experiences to maximize revenue during home events
  • Prepare and analyze timely sales reports to track individual and team performance, ensuring alignment with revenue goals
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to manage relationships with external vendors and corporate partners related to group ticket sales and suite rentals
  • Partner with university athletics marketing teams to execute ticket sales promotions and revenue-driving campaigns
  • Work closely with the Data Analytics team to support CRM and database initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and targeted marketing efforts
