About The Position

As the Regional Manager, Retail Sales, you will lead revenue growth through our retail partners across the Western United States , representing some of the most trusted brands in the industry— Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fiberon . As a key member of the retail sales leadership team, you’ll shape the strategic direction of the channel while driving execution in the field. You’ll manage a team of retail sales representatives, develop impactful marketing plans, and ensure maximum performance across all product lines. You will Think Fast by identifying growth opportunities and optimizing retail strategies. You will Work It Together by collaborating with cross-functional teams and retail partners to deliver exceptional results. And you will Make the Hard Call by balancing priorities, budgets, and resources to achieve ambitious goals. Position location: Must reside within the Western U.S. region. This role requires 50% travel to retail locations, customer events, and trade shows.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of sales experience, including direct team management.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing talent.
  • Experience calling on retail/home center channels.
  • Must reside within the Western U.S. region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to present products effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Experience with wholesale distribution channels.
  • CRM experience.
  • Professional sales training or certification.

Responsibilities

  • Select, hire, lead, and coach a team of retail sales representatives to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Participate in strategic planning for the Retail channel; translate vision into actionable strategies, business plans, budgets, and growth targets.
  • Assist retail reps with business development planning, including store prioritization, key initiative execution, and in-store call processes.
  • Drive best-practice selling in the aisle and at the Pro Desk using our retail sales process.
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale field sales leaders to share insights and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Partner with key distribution partners to expand capabilities and drive sales growth.
  • Manage performance metrics such as revenue, profitability, market share, S&OP, and leadership competencies.
  • Utilize CRM and digital tools to track progress; lead regular sales huddles to review goals and performance.
  • Conduct ride-alongs with retail reps, providing coaching and feedback to enhance selling skills.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for issues raised by retail sales reps.
  • Maintain and manage the division’s sales team budget.
  • Provide accurate forecast input for operational planning.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and customer events.
  • Perform other duties as needed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
