About The Position

Become a part of our caring community The Manager, Retail Pharmacist reports to an Associate Director and performs various pharmacy-related activities including but not limited to dispensing medications, providing immunizations, patient and provider consultations. The Manager, Retail Pharmacist will also perform various managerial duties related to associate/team management. As the Manager, Retail Pharmacist, you will prepare and maintain all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory.

Requirements

• PharmD or Registered Pharmacist
• Must have an active unrestricted license with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy without disciplinary action.
• New graduates with intern Pharmacist experience are invited to apply
• Immunization Certification
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Proficient using MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and ability to learn new systems such as cash register, patient CRM, etc.
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/CenterWell's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role you will be required to be screened for TB.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year post license Pharmacist experience.
• 2 years project leadership, and or team lead experience.
• 2 years management experience which may include hiring, training, coaching and up to termination.
• Ambulatory Care experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Any employee who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

• Provide information to the staff members on drugs and pharmaceuticals.
• Interact with the patients.
• Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
• Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks.
• Use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
• Strong relationship building and provider relations.
