Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience and a degree in the food service industry or related field.
  • Knowledge of large volume operations preferred.
  • Good communication skills and organizational ability a must.
  • Sound judgment as well as the ability to direct and manage people.
  • NJ CER LICENSE REQURIED

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the execution of service delivery, product quality and provides dedicated leadership to the outlet.
  • Participates in strategic planning regarding the direction of the outlet.
  • Ensures that all aspect of the assigned outlet contributes to 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Ensures that food is prepared and served according to the desired portions and quality specifications.
  • Advises customer on selection of food and beverage items.
  • Supervises all dining room personnel within the dining facility.
  • Assists with the training of new employees, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed for providing proper service to customers in the outlet.
  • Maintains records of personnel performance, dining room labor costs, other expenses as to china, glass, flatware and current departmental time log.
  • Schedules periodic food service employee meetings to ensure correct execution of restaurant policies.
  • Responsible for department budget and CER’s.
  • Has working knowledge of union rules and regulations.
  • Ensures adherence to all Board of Health standards.
  • Builds a strong cohesive team by creating an environment of teamwork and lateral service.
  • Works closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of service for our guests.
