About The Position

NBCUniversal is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Residuals to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely residual payments while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Labor, Production Finance, and Business Affairs. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, technical, and communication skills with a deep understanding of residuals and guild-related processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related industry experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid understanding of residuals and collective bargaining agreements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in BI tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) a plus.
• Proven ability to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to support critical decision-making.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with precision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and initiate monthly and quarterly residual payments.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from the Paris system and BI tools to generate reports and insights for Finance, Business Affairs, and Labor Relations.
• Coordinate with the Cash Planning team on weekly residuals payouts.
• Review and approve U.S. and international residual payments across major guilds (e.g., Equity, UBCP, ACTRA, MEAA).
• Support internal and external audit requests, including guild audits.
• Collaborate with guilds to resolve claims and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead and participate in testing and implementation of ERP and Residuals system enhancements.
