Manager Residential Services (Intellectual Disabilities Program) YA Full-Time Hanover Area
About The Position
Provides the support and assistance to people we support to achieve skills necessary to live independently within the community and to create conditions within the homes to facilitate growth and self-awareness. The Manager of Residential Services is responsible for supervision and oversight of the Team Leaders and Direct Support Professionals in the assigned Community Homes. The Manager plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall delivery of services in accordance with current federal, state, and program standards, guidelines and regulations as well as organizational policy and procedure. The Manager also recommends changes that would improve services performed.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1-year work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years' work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.
- An associate degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years' work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.
Responsibilities

- Encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth and interest in the person’s personal and care needs.
- Participates when assigned in developing company Strategic Plans; participates as a management team member in fulfilling the organization’s Strategic Plan.
