About The Position

The Manager of Residential Construction & Administration at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is responsible for overseeing the technical and mechanical operations of all MSK-owned residential and commercial properties. This role involves managing housing services staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing construction management for residential projects. The position requires collaboration with MSK leadership to align institutional needs with housing initiatives and managing external vendors for various projects.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Residential Management experience.
  • Current or previous supervisory/people management experience.
  • Luxury Residential or Hotel management experience.
  • Project/construction management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a client-service environment.
  • Resourceful, creative, and strong problem solver with solid leadership and teambuilding skills.
  • Successful track record in meeting budgets, schedules, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the technical/mechanical operations of all Center owned residential and commercial properties.
  • Supervise and guide all Housing services staff including Superintendents, Maintenance Technicians, Housing Maintenance Aides, and Painters.
  • Maintain customer service through direct supervisory responsibilities of the Residential Door Attendant (RDA) services.
  • Provide construction management of residential projects including apartment renovations, building upgrades, and capital improvements.
  • Collaborate with MSK Leadership to align institutional needs with housing project initiatives.
  • Oversee GME's annual clinical turnover apartment-ready process, ensuring timely delivery of resources.
  • Engage and manage external vendors performing work throughout the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional safety standards and NYC building laws.
  • Set and maintain buildings operations and projects budget.
