The Manager, Research & Analytics is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the modeling, analytical, and research functions in support of the organization's objectives and goals. This role provides insight into the organization's non-financial numbers, Member's needs, and consumer trends. The manager works with other business units to support loan growth, Member satisfaction and engagement, participation, Membership, and loyalty. Measurements of success include increased Member participation, engagement, and loyalty, as well as solid business analysis summaries. The manager identifies ongoing research & analysis information to develop marketing strategies for Member analysis and profiling, Member satisfaction, Member segmentation, product and service performance measurements, etc. They establish research methodology and design formats for data gathering, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires. The role also involves examining and analyzing statistical Member data using computer modeling techniques to forecast future marketing trends, ensuring that intelligence is received and analyzed to capitalize on opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity. Additionally, the manager develops and implements a performance monitoring system to gather and provide metric tracking and strategic evaluation of marketing initiatives, updating senior management on key competitive activities, trends, or conditions that may affect the development of new products and their corresponding impact on business plans. The manager provides detailed modeling and actionable recommendations of Member data to better target and segment communications and prospecting in support of marketing initiatives, develops new techniques for engaging Members in surveys and research, and works with business units to improve Member satisfaction and engagement measurements.
