This cutting-edge facility will play a key role in Walmart’s commitment to delivering high-quality, fresh milk to communities across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi. At this facility, we’ll process and bottle a wide variety of milk options, including Gallons, Half-Gallons, Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, 1% Chocolate Milk, and Cream for our trusted Great Value and Member’s Mark brands. By sourcing milk primarily from local Texas dairy farmers, this new facility strengthens our commitment to a resilient and transparent supply chain that supports local businesses while ensuring the highest quality for our customers. Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related area and 1 year’s experience in maintenance, operations, or related area.
  • Option 2: 3 years’ supervisory experience in maintenance, operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple projects within Operations by defining scopes of work and project objectives for example equipment retrofits Establishes project activities deliverables milestones and timelines
  • Coordinates planning activities for example business requirements risk assessments target dates and assembles management plans
  • Tracks plan changes for example scope schedule costs and ensures the resolution of critical issues
  • Manages the governance of project plans
  • Identifies the resources needed for project completion
  • Monitors budgets and costs for projects
  • Delivers presentations status reports and other project documentation to internal stakeholders and external suppliers at regular intervals
  • Develops processes and procedures for example reliable operations for assigned areas of responsibility by analyzing data in order to identify existing standards processes governance and workflows
  • Assesses key business components for example processes workflows key performance indicators dashboards to monitor current performance baselines
  • Visits distribution centers regularly
  • Works with maintenance associates to identify improvement opportunities for example profit and loss CMMS equipment performance inventory
  • Revises existing processes and developing improvement solutions
  • Ensures program processes are clear and executable with manageable rollout plans
  • Partners with Regional and crossfunctional teams to gain alignment on improvement solutions and facilitate consistent communication with maintenance teams
  • Ensures business needs are met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans programs and initiatives
  • Develops the skills and abilities of maintenance management
  • Provides crosstraining maintenance management
  • Participates in internal and external recruiting initiatives to fill staffing opportunities
  • Consults with business partners managers coworkers or other key stakeholders
  • Solicits evaluates and applies suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Participates in and supports community outreach events
  • Coordinates completes and oversees jobrelated activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace
