About The Position
The Manager of Regulatory Compliance for Gas is a pivotal role within Liberty, responsible for overseeing the gas compliance maintenance plan standards and reporting. This position is integral to ensuring that all gas utilities adhere to established compliance standards, which includes monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance practices. The Manager will work closely with gas utilities to address any deviations from these standards, ensuring that compliance reporting is accurate and discrepancies are promptly corrected. This role also involves providing leadership in prioritizing technology enhancement requests related to gas operations and engineering, championing ongoing technology enhancements, and collaborating with executive leadership to secure necessary funding for these initiatives. In addition to compliance monitoring, the Manager will identify areas of risk within gas operations and facilitate the development of mitigation plans in collaboration with gas utilities, IT, and other stakeholders. This includes the implementation of corrective action plans to resolve compliance issues and providing guidance on preventing similar situations in the future. Regular reviews of work order statuses and annual scheduling and planning reviews will also be part of the responsibilities, ensuring that all gas utilities are operating within compliance and efficiency standards. The position may involve direct reports, providing leadership and coaching to team members across the gas utilities. The Manager will act as the owner of standardized compliance maintenance plans, work and compliance matrices, and associated process workflows and documents, ensuring that all aspects of gas compliance are effectively managed and continuously improved.
