About The Position

This position is responsible for managing HR field issues across all Lines of Business (LOBs) while collaborating with Loss Prevention and Operations. The role involves working closely with Regional Sales Directors, District Sales Managers, and the Operations Department to ensure effective HR practices are implemented throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three years of Human Resources experience as a generalist or in recruitment, training, and development in a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of management practices and the retail industry.
  • Knowledge of associate relations policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and obtain a valid driver's license and passport.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a satellite work location with minimal supervision.
  • Strong leadership ability and team member skills in a regional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support Field Operations management in interviewing and assessing candidates for Seasonal DSM's/Zone Managers/DSM's and store management positions.
  • Assess developmental needs and identify training opportunities, facilitating company training programs for skill enhancement.
  • Develop recruiting strategies and staffing plans for store management positions within the region/zone, focusing on training others in recruitment skills.
  • Partner with RSD and DSM on HR issues as needed, under the direction of the DVP of Field Human Resources.
  • Ensure consistency of corporate culture and store standards within the region/zone.
  • Ensure adherence to employment law and equal opportunity guidelines at local and federal levels.
  • Provide guidance on staffing, recruitment, employment law, salary administration, and company policy to Home Office and field/store personnel.
  • Manage Human Resources processes that support overall business objectives.
